In a nice drinking window. Tannins well resolved and silky.
On initial pour a touch acidic with some earthy tones and ash (in a positive way). Improving over the next several hours, and pairing well with cheese and a meat dish. The next day still held strong with additional tertiary notes. A satisfying bottle at a very nice point in its life.

Lovely nose of cherries, baking spices, and cacao. Good balance of cherry fruit, spice, and acid, with good length. An elegant Barolo ready to drink, despite some dancing tannin. Very nice.
