1964 Chateau La Tour Haut-Brion, Pessac-Leognan, France

Château La Tour Haut-Brion was a Bordeaux wine estate from the Pessac-Léognan appellation, which was ranked as a Cru Classé for red wine. The estate`s final vintage was 2005, after the owners – Domaine Clarence Dillon – decided to discontinue the label. This is a rare bottle from the 1964 vintage which was both a good and a long lasting vintage of notable wines. Janice Robinson gave this wine a 17.5 in 2014!
